The Small Grants Program started in 2006 as a way to direct smaller funds to nonprofit organizations in Greene County, Ohio. Bringing together the resources of charitable individuals with the needs of our area, today and coming years, is the goal of Greene Giving’s small grants program.

Awards generally will be made to charitable organizations exempt from federal taxation under section 501(C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Grants may be allowed to non 501(C)(3) organizations if there is documented charitable activity. All organizations must benefit Greene County, Ohio.

Roma Gordman's real passion was animal welfare as related to senior pet owners, and her passing created Silver Friends Golden Paws Senior Pet Care. The grants go towards projects that have a well-planned approach to solving a problem with pets and delivering services to senior citizens.
